Modern Times Monday: The Super Bowl = Downton Abbey?

Why, yes. Indeed it does. In fact, there are many striking similarities between these two popular Sunday television events. Let me elaborate.

In football, there are two important sections of the team: the offense and the defense. Think of these like the upstairs and downstairs of Dowton respectively. Both have extremely interesting story lines and are vital to the running of house, but the upstairs (offense) gets to do fancier stuff and earn touchdowns, I mean money.
